The Grafton Historical Society on Sunday, January 12, 2014, will present the “Patent Medicine Show” at 2 pm. The program, presented by author and columnist, Sally Cragin, will take a humorous look at the “miracle cures” of yesteryear, bringing to life figures from the health and wellness movement including Lydia Pinkham and Fannie Farmer, and giving the audience a hands-on look at the elixirs, tonics, and other related items from that time period. The program will be held at the South Grafton Community House, 25 Main St., South Grafton. A donation of $5 is requested.
