The Webster Dudley Business Alliance and Isador's Organic Fruit & Deli of Oxford just announced that they are partnering again for their 4th Annual Chili Cook-Off on Sunday, March 1from 12-2 p.m.
Last year's event was a great success with lots of people coming out to sample and judge 17 entries. More than $700 was raised for the Hand Fruit Program, which distributes fresh, organic fruit to local elementary schools in Webster, Dudley and Oxford.
You are invited to come and sample the entries or enter your own recipe and support a good cause for just a $5 suggested donation. WDBA is also looking for prize sponsors. For a $75 donation your business name would be engraved on the 2nd place plaque and for a $50 donation your business name would be engraved on the 3rd place plaque. This offer is first come first served so don't delay. You would also receive mention in all press releases and have your picture taken with the winners that day. Tax deductible donations in any amount to support the event are also welcome and can be made out to The WDBA, P.O. Box 821, Webster, MA 01570 with "Chili Cook-Off" noted on the check.
Businesses and individuals may enter the contest. Sign up by calling Justin at 508-987-1211. Spicy, mild, meat, or vegetarian entries are welcome. Advance tickets are available at Booklovers’ Gourmet in Webster and at Isador’s Organics in Oxford. For more information email [email protected].
