Ages 18 – 22 Transition Presentation

The Northbridge Special Education Parent Advisory Council is hosting a presentation on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Northbridge High School Media Center, Second Floor, 427 Linwood Avenue, Whitinsville, MA  from 7 – 9 p.m.  The Special Education Advisory Councils of Douglas, Uxbridge, Sutton, and Blackstone-Millville Regional will be co-hosting the presentation.

The Department of Developmental Services will be presenting information regarding 18-22 transitions.  The information will include timelines and the roles of school personnel, family members and service providers.  Also community supports/services and post-secondary options.  The presentation will be held in collaboration with Alternatives of Whitinsville, Kennedy-Donovan Center of Milford, Kathleen Bach, Child and Family Advocate, and Darlene Hayden of Work Opportunities Unlimited.
