UXBRIDGE: The Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce announces its Annual Steamers at Sunset held on Wednesday, August 19h from 4:30-7:30 PM at Blissful Meadows Golf Club, 801 Chocolog Road in Uxbridge.
The event features a Caribbean themed evening of golf, cocktails, food, raffles, games and much more. The night gathers chamber members and community together to celebrate the end of summer. A special feature of the evening is music from steel drummer and percussionist, Toby Tobas.
This marks the first year the BVCC will host the event from Blissful Meadow’s new ‘open air’ pavilion—a beautifully constructed function space with retractable walls and all the amenities of their tavern/clubhouse. The pavilion offers covered outdoor space, a private bar, and close access to the driving range, which will have designated spaces for guests to use during the event.
“This event is one that our members most look forward to throughout the year,” says Jeannie Hebert, Chamber President and CEO. “It’s a fun and exciting night filled with good music and great food. The club’s new pavilion will allow guests to not only be more comfortable, but it allows everyone to gather in one space, making it more social and friendly.”
As in years past, guests have the opportunity to play a round of golf (9 or 18 holes) before the start of the event, with special pricing available. The event is open to the public and advanced registration is required. Attendants must be 21 years or older. Manchaug Mills of Sutton will serve as Presenting Sponsor. Other Sponsorships now available! Tickets are priced per meal: Lobster Dinner $60.00, Steak Dinner $45.00, Chicken Dinner $40.00 and Vegetarian Dinner $35.00. To register, contact the BVCC at 508-234-9090 ext. 107, online at www.blackstonevalley.org, or email [email protected].
