Author Ann Hood coming to Northbridge

The Northbridge Association of Churches will be hosting an evening with nationally acclaimed author Ann Hood Wednesday October 8, 2014 7 PM at the Soorp Asdvadzadzin Armenian Apostolic Church 315 Church St. Whitinsville. Ann will give a presentation, touching on her background and her books The Knitting Circle, The Red Thread, and Comfort. Please join us for a wonderful evening with a fantastic, loving, and very talented lady Ann Hood. Once you meet and experience being with her, you will always have a place for her in your heart. Ann Hood’s many books, stories and essays’ have won her the New York Times’ Editor’s Choice Award, 2 Pushcart Prizes, a Best American Spiritual Writing Award, a Best Food Writing Award, and The Paul Bowles Price for Short Fiction. She is a regular columnist for The New York Times, stories and essays have appeared in The Paris Review, Tin House, Glimmertrain, the Washington Post, The Atlantic Monthly, Yankee Magazine and many others. There will be time for questions and answers. Ann lives in Providence with her husband and two children. Barnes & Nobles will provide books to purchase and book signing.
