Author bio: May Woodworth weaves her many years working and volunteering for family strength and women’s empowerment organizations into Sticky Girls, her first non-fiction book. She is the published author of some 14 romance novels written under a pen name. May earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from Endicott College in Massachusetts. After college, she pursued careers in social service, as a preschool teacher, and a certified lactation counselor. It was in the WIC (Women Infants and Children) program that she had the opportunity to direct women and mothers to the appropriate agencies to address their challenges with domestic violence, housing and their needs for personal counseling services.
