Walking Tour Troubadours Return to Webster

Folk troubadours Mark Mandeville & Raianne Richards will be performing with their band (Doug Williamson, Peter Hart) at the Pearl Crawford Library on Thursday Sept 8 from 6-8 PM. This concert is sponsored by the Dudley Cultural Council.

Mandeville and Richards have recently returned from their 7th Annual Massachusetts Walking Tour, wherein they organized and performed 18 community concerts in 18 days, from Provincetown to Swansea – walking to each event with instruments and camping gear, approximately 144 miles. These artists are promoting their new album Grain By Grain, available at the concert and in locally in Webster at Booklovers Gourmet.

Press for Grain by Grain....

Nick Noble from WICN 90.5 of Worcester proclaims: "Their new CD, Grain by Grain, demonstrates an ever progressive richness in songwriting and performance. From the opening title song through its closing track—“Across the Morning”—it is an exemplar of what modern Americana can and should be."

Americana UK states : "If you're drawn to slightly melancholic mostly acoustic Americana played and sung with true emotion then there's a lot here to attract you."

Victor D. Infante of Worcester's Telegram and Gazette Offers: "Mandeville and Richards take nothing for granted on this album. It’s staggeringly beautiful at points, but there’s always a sense that the beauty is both painstakingly earned, and fleeting nonetheless. "
