SOUTHBRIDGE: Does your garage house a ’67 Pontiac Firebird? Or maybe your favorite ride is a red ’65 Mustang convertible or a 2004 Dodge Viper. Regardless of make or model, buff up those classics and head to Connecticut for the 9th Annual Classic Car and Motorcycle Show. The Harrington Auxiliary once again sponsors “Cruising’ into Healthcare” at Bogeys Ice Cream Stand/Thompson Speedway in Thompson, Connecticut, on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The cost to register a vehicle is $10. The first 100 cars receive dash plaques. No admission fee for spectators.
Trophies will be awarded for First, Second and Third Place. Registrants also vote for the People’s Choice Award. One award will be given for the motorcycle deemed “Best in Show." The award ceremony takes place at 2:00 pm.
In addition to the Classic Car and Motorcycle Show, DJ Dick Salvas will spin your favorite oldies and Harrington on Wheels will offer health education and provide screenings.
