Festival features brewers from New England and beyond
WEBSTER – On Saturday, August 22, New England’s beer enthusiasts will come together at Indian Ranch once again to sample some of the best local, regional, national and international beers, micro-brews, craft beers and malt beverages available. Attendees will enjoy delicious food, live music and beach games on the shores of Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg.
The local Massachusetts brewery scene will be well represented by Spencer Brewery, Wachusett Brewing Company, Wormtown Brewery, Newburyport Brewing Company as well as Harpoon and Samuel Adams. The other five New England states present at Summer Brewfest will be Long Trail Brewing, Woodchuck and Magic Hat from Vermont, Shipyard Brewing Company and Baxter Brewing Co., along with Peak Organic and Geary Brewing from Maine, Two Roads Brewing Co. in Connecticut and Narragansett Brewing Company from Rhode Island. New England classic Red Hook of New Hampshire will also be making an appearance at Summer Brewfest.
Beer lovers can also taste samples from the rest of the northeast including McKenzie’s Brewing Co. and Yuengling from Pennsylvania, Ithaca Beer Company and Blue Point Brewing Company of New York. Midwest brewers will include Chicago’s Goose Island Brewing Company and Tenth & Blake Beer Company, Boulevard Brewing Company out of Kansas City, with Budweiser, Bud Light, Bass Ale, Stella Artois and Shock Top all representing Anheuser-Busch from St. Louis.
The western part of the country will be represented by Hawaii’s Kona Brewing Company, Widmer Brothers Brewing of Oregon, Sierra Nevada from California and Colorado’s Blue Moon Brewing and Crazy Mountain Brewing Company. International brands will include Beck’s from Germany.
Voted one of the Top Ten BBQ Joints in New England by the Boston Globe, BT’s Smokehouse of Sturbridge will once again serve up their award-winning Southern Style BBQ. Central Massachusetts’ southern rock cover band Still Burnin’ will provide a fun-filled musical backdrop. Food from BT’s Smokehouse and grilled food on the beach are not included in the ticket price.
Tickets for the Indian Ranch Summer Brewfest on August 22nd, 2:00-6:00PM are $35 in advance and $40 on the day of the event. Designated Driver tickets are also available for just $10.
