The Millbury Youth Commission will be hosting a Fun Day event on June 23, 2018 from noon to 6pm at Windle Field Canal St. Millbury.
This event is for the whole family from the youngest to seniors for this free entrance event. During the day many activities will be going on at both ends of the field.
The children area located at the CVS end of the field will have Lindsey Newton Dodd playing music for the youngest children with Mr. Kim Webster puppetry and music performing after her with two shows in the day. Steve Charette will do his Magic which even adults get mind boggled over. This area will have a moon bounce strictly for the youngest of children to jump around in. Another big hit with children of these ages is the Touch A Truck. Trucks such as Dump Truck, Fire Truck, Military and much more will be on display. The local 4 H Club will have a petting zoo and local organizations will be on hand to answer questions of there organizations to get the children involved in.
Moving up to the teenagers of the world, We will have Two huge moon bounce obstacles to compete in.The Wheels N Motion BMX Bike Stunt team will perform some crazy stunts with bikes to thrill you for the day.
For the music portion of the day, The McInerney Irish Step Dancers will open the day at the main stage before our headlining performer at 1pm, Robert Black Tribute to Elvis show. Robert has become one of the top Elvis impersonator performing at casino's and theaters through out New England. Jesse Garcia from Belit, local Millbury musician, performing his twist on songs which we know.
Although this is a free entrance event well we have Dippin Dots, Pearson Ice Cream, Scales and Wheelock Inn as food vendors which you will need a little bit of money for as well as our Roaming Railroad taking you around the field in fashion. There will be craft vendors and other organizations displaying their booths. Massachusetts National Guard will be here and a appearance from" Jake" the mascot of the Worcester Bravehearts Baseball.
The Millbury Youth Commission welcomes Pro Wrestling Super Show starting at 4pm adding 8 matches with a 20 man over the top rope Millbury rumble. This entertainment is for all to see and enjoy. Something you do not see in Millbury too often.
