National Public Lands Day at Buffumville Lake and Hodges Village Dam

National Public Lands Day (NPLD) – the nation’s largest, single-day volunteer effort for public lands – is a celebration of the work, play and learning that takes place on Public Lands Every Day. One third of America's land is in public hands; NPLD offers everyone an opportunity to help maintain them.

This is your chance to help give back to the places you love. Please join us at Buffumville Lake Park, 229 Oxford Rd. in Charlton, on September 27th 2014 from 8-12pm for our annual National Public Lands Day. Projects for all ages include trail maintenance, shoreline cleanup, park improvements and more. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Please call Park Ranger Jamie Kordack to register at 978-318-8399.
