STURBRIDGE:  The youth in the community are joining Stop Abuse Today for many aspects of the Dancing with the Stars fund raising event on Saturday April 1, 7PM at  Burgess Elementary School in Sturbridge.
Tantasqua student, Adam Thibeault, will be awing early arrivals to our event with a jester’s magic tricks to celebrate April Fool’s Day.
Eva Rapagnola is a 13 year old singer who loves to sing Jazz. With favorite singers like Billy Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald, Eva’s taste in music is different from most kids her age. Her unique voice and natural style make her, to quote Nat King Cole ‘Unforgettable.’ Here is Eva Rapagnola!  Eva will be opening the evening with a bang, singing Billy Holiday’s, 'Them There Eyes' and  Paloma Faith’s, 'Upside Down'
SENI-JUDO Club students will be presenting a Judo demonstration led by last year’s Dancing with the Stars contestant and Judo instructor, Aaron Cote.
Zumba lovers can try-it-out with Zumba instructor Erin Greene Wallace.  Erin will lead a dance with audience volunteers, of all ages, during the intermission. Participants will share their Zumba energy to the song, ‘Break the Chain’  to open act 2 of the program.
Tantasqua Regional High School Show Choir students will be performing One Direction’s ‘Drag me Down’ while votes are being tallied.
Emcee, Rita Schiano, will seamlessly guide the crowd through the evening presenting our three Dance Stars and their instructors.  Our Stars are  Bob Datz with Kayla Hatch, Sheila LaFlower with Tony Miloski, and Charlie Cook with Joanne Chidester. So, come, cheer-on, and vote for your favorite dancer!  Dancers have been rehearsing for weeks with their professional instructors and it is sure to be a spectacular show.
