Story Time Program for Young Children July 9 to August 6

NORTH GRAFTON – The Willard House & Clock Museum and the Grafton Public Library are offering a special three-part story time program designed for children between the ages of 3 through 6.  As part of the library’s Fizz! Boom! Read! Program, the museum will feature the science of clocks and other ways to tell time. Located at the museum on July 9, July 23, and August 6, 2014 from 12:30 PM until 1:15 PM., the program features stories and tours of appropriate parts of the museum’s collection. Participants are encouraged to come early and bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the museum grounds.

Space is limited for this free program. Reservations are required and children must be accompanied by an adult. 
Located at 11 Willard Street in North Grafton, MA, the Willard House and Clock Museum offers a unique window into what life was like in the late 1700s in a small New England town, and is one of Grafton’s oldest houses. Museum galleries include the restored original farmhouse, which is also the birthplace of the Willard clockmakers.  This unique museum contains period furniture, features and accessories, as well as more than 80 Willard clocks, the original workshop of the Willard clockmakers, family portraits, furnishings and other Willard family heirlooms.
