Tagliaferri officially on Ballot

Bellingham. Democrat Kevin Tagliaferri candidate for State Representative of the 8th Worcester District delivered his certified signatures to the Secretary of State’s office last Friday and announced that he is officially on the ballot for the September 4, 2018 primary.
“Volunteers and friends helped me collect over 500 signatures in the towns of Bellingham, Blackstone, Millville and Uxbridge,” Tagliaferri stated. “I am grateful for their time and dedication to my campaign. Onward to September 4th!”
Tagliaferri is the Chair of the Bellingham Democratic Town Committee and an active member of the Democratic State Committee serving the Worcester/Norfolk State Senate District. He volunteers with several organizations, including the United Way of Tri County, Metrowest Legal Services in Framingham, and the Volunteer Lawyer’s Project of the Boston Bar Association and the Special Education Surrogate Parent’s Program.
An attorney in private practice, Tagliaferri specializes in criminal defense, bankruptcy, consumer and school law. He also accepts court-appointed cases for indigent clients in the juvenile court.
Tagliaferri believes that the four communities in the district have not always been the beneficiaries of the resources that are available from the Commonwealth concerning economic development, infrastructure improvements, and services for seniors, for example. “I want to be at the table to fight for this district’s fair share,” he said.
