Tracy DeRienzo, owner of Trendz Consignment Boutique, has made something great even better. Her very popular clothing and accessories consignment shop for women and teens has sprouted a sister store right next door, featuring furniture, home décor and vintage pieces. The new store, Trendz Boutique, reflects store owner Tracy DeRienzo’s love for beautiful, creative antiques and handcrafted items, featuring restorations and renovations.
It’s spring - time to spruce up your wardrobe in the consignment shop and refresh the look in your home as well. The new boutique is filled with bright, spring items you can’t find elsewhere. The look will change seasonally and crafting items, such as chalk paint and supplies, will be available continuously.
In the consignment shop, two distinct rooms separate the women’s area from the teen area, each with its own dressing rooms. Right now the shop is filled with fancy dresses, shoes and bags for proms, weddings and special spring events and as summer approaches the clothes will be more geared to vacation wear and summer events. Handbags and shoes to complete any outfit, jewelry touches to add a special zing, can all be found at this constantly updating consignment boutique.
Voted the Best in Central Mass in a recent T&G survey and voted Reader’s Choice 2016 in the Grafton News, Trendz is making a name for itself and providing a welcome choice for local shoppers. Raising four girls and a few other extended family members, Tracy has lots of experience in stretching dollars and looking for great deals.
Tracy says, “I’m so grateful for all the community support. When we had the fire a few years ago, friends and local businesses donated carloads of clothes and accessories to help us get started again. We reopened here in April of 2016 and have been doing great! Now we’ve added the home décor shop and have seen lots of interest. I couldn’t have done it without my family’s support, especially my mother- in-law-to-be and my own mom.”
Trendz is open daily Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., 6 p.m. on Wednesday, 4 p.m. on Saturday. Sundays 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The stores are at 2679 Providence Road in Northbridge; phone 508 266-7325.
