The Uxbridge Farmers Market is looking forward to an exciting fourth season. “We have at least eight vendors committed for every week, and 12 for some weeks” said market committee member Travis Baker. “I think this will be our breakout year. The relocation to the Uxbridge Town Common was a good move.”
Now centrally located at the Common on Court Street, the market has proven to be a great source for fresh produce, soaps and products to the community. With the introduction of the popular Weekly Crop Baskets, the Uxbridge Farmers Market is proving to be the "go to" source in town for fresh fruits and vegetables.
The market will kick-off on Monday, June 19, and will run every Monday afternoon from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. until September 18. Customers can look forward to local early greens, strawberries, rhubarb, honey, fresh eggs, apples and more.
The Farmers Market Committee is energetic and passionate about the Uxbridge community and the Blackstone Valley and hope to make this a huge success. Vendors interested in participating in the market should contact them at [email protected] or visit the Facebook page at www.facebook.com/UxbridgeFarmersMarket for more details.
