There are numerous ways that residents of South County, northeastern Connecticut and the region can get involved with The Last Green Valley.

Here are some:

• Organize a walk, paddle or other event for Spring Outdoors or Walktober.

• Become a water quality monitoring volunteer.

• Adopt a waters trails landing.

• Participate in a town-wide park or river cleanup.

• Help in the office with mailings, etc.

• Help with a fundraising event.

• Serve on a committee, such as the Tastes of the Valley Committee.

• Serve on the The Last Green Valley Board of Directrors.

• Become a TLGV ranger!
