An antique coffee grinder is one of many items on display at the E.N. Jenckes store in downtown Douglas. A genuine American general store, the Greek-revital two-story wood-frame structure was built in 1n833 by Elias Balcome and is now operated by the Douglas Historical Society. The store was scheduled to be open for Octoberfest in Douglas on October 1st and is also open most Saturdays.
