• The Grafton Farmer’s Market is open on the Grafton Common every Wednesday for the summer produce season, from 2 to 6 p.m. 
• Grafton Recreation Concerts on the Common: Bring a chair to relax and enjoy a great summer of music on the Common, Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. (Schedule is subject to change)  Aug. 1  Dock 10 ; Aug. 8 Holdin’ Back the 60’s;  Aug. 15  Claflin Hill Symphony;  Aug. 22   Northern Fried Revival. Concerts funded by Grafton Recreation and their sponsors. Presenting sponsor: Grafton Cultural Council; sponsors: Savers Bank and CSR Financial Services; Supporting sponsor: Gaudette Insurance and Swirls and Scoops. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Grafton Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the MA Cultural Council, a state agency.
• Silver Lake is open! Paddling Nights: Aug. 6 and Aug. 13, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Silver Lake. For individuals and families. Lead by Fin and Feather from Upton. Registration fee and boat rental. See Grafton Rec. site for details. 
• Family Fishing Clinic: July 30, 6 to 8 p.m. at Silver Lake Beach. Learn how to fish with the Mass Wildlife Angled Education Program. Free. For ages 6 and up. Register at GraftonRec.com. 
• Paw Patrol: Now scheduled for Aug. 21. Bring your pet, lawn chair and blanket for a movie under the stars on Grafton Common. Movie begins at dusk, around 7:30.
• Collectibles Fair: September 7, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Grafton Municipal Gym. Toys, cards, sports memorabilia, coins, comics, records. Rent a table or come to buy! 
• Grafton Public Library  35 Grafton Common, 508-839-4649. Email [email protected]. Confirm programs online at www.graftonlibrary.org/events. Library hours are: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
• Senior Center Grafton Belts Out the Oldies on Friday July 16 at 1 p.m. Join the featuring singalong some of the classics. No talent required.
• Book Club Selection for August. “A Long Petal of the Sea” by Isabelle Allende. The book is available at the library. The book club meets in person and also by email and has phone conversations about the books, first Wednesday of the month.
