The Friends of Whitinsville Social Library are seeking book donations on the following dates: Thursday 12/12 from 5-7 and Saturday 12/14 from 10-12. Come to the library’s back entrance to donate items to the Friends during the designated times. Do not donate materials that are damaged or outdated including cassettes, magazines and encyclopedias. Items are resold at the Friends of WSL’s biannual book sales to raise funds for the library. Do not dump items at the library outside these hours. Contact [email protected] for any questions.

Patrons are invited to sign up for a 30 minute session with Jenna Gouin, MBA/MSOL from Blackstone Valley Partnership for Public Health. She can help you with: application assistance including MassHealth, SNAP, WIC, Fuel Assistance, Medicare, Social Security, Veteran’s benefits; referrals to community organizations, mental health, and substance abuse providers; assistance obtaining financial resources to address past due rents and utilities; and guidance on solving some of life’s challenging situations. Teen Creative Writing Club

This is the perfect program for teens (grades 7-12) who are seeking a place to write and share ideas. We will discuss different genres of writing, complete writing prompts, and use time at the end to journal and/or work on our own writing pieces. Please bring your own notebook! Registration required.

Craft Hour for Children, Tweens, and Teens

On the first Saturday of every month, drop in to enjoy a craft hour in the Tween & Teen room. This Saturday we’ll be decorating paper snowflakes that you can choose to take home or display in the children’s room on the winter tree wall.

Winter Craft Night for Children and Teens

Drop in to the Tween & Teen Room to decorate paper snowflakes and winter hats with various crafting supplies. Snowflake projects will be hung up after the event in the children’s room for all to admire this winter.

Learn how to upgrade your gingerbread house decorating skills just in time for the holiday season with instructor Mandy Roberge. This program is for adults. Registration required.
Puzzle & Board Game Swap

Chapter Chats YA Book Club
