Sep 23, 2022 12:21PM ● By Kim Vasseur
The Northbridge Cultural Council (NCC) is accepting grant applications from local artists, performers, schools, and nonprofit organizations through October 17, 2022. Potential funding (often ranging from $100-$1,000) will be awarded for events or workshops supporting the arts, humanities, and applied sciences in the Northbridge community, to take place throughout 2023. Virtual events are welcome! The application and the council’s funding priorities can be found on both massculture.org and at northbridgemass.org/cultural-council.

The NCC is a local agency funded by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. The NCC is part of the largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation, the Local Cultural Council (LCC) program of the Mass Cultural Council. The LCCs enrich the cultural life of all cities and towns in Massachusetts. Led by municipally appointed volunteers, statewide LCCs award over $4 million every year, supporting more than 6,000 cultural programs that include everything from field trips to lectures, festivals, and dance performances.

If you would like to join the council to help support and promote arts, culture, and sciences in Northbridge for all ages, please visit northbridgemass.org/cultural-council, or email [email protected] for more information and how to apply.
