National Night Out

The Auburn Police Department invites you to their first ever celebration of National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lemansky Park.
Admission is free as are the events.
There will be a bounce slide, an obstacle course, a dunk tank and live music. Get your hands on the equipment with the “touch-a-truck” exhibit and be impressed with demonstrations by K9 Biza and K9 Riggs and more.
Food trucks will be on hand for snacks and dinner purchases.
Held on the first Tuesday in August every year since 1984, National Night Out was designed to promote neighborhood safety. The event originally began with people leaving porch lights on and sitting outside their properties – hence, the name.
National Night Out was first established by the National Association of Town Watch. It is usually organized by block watchers, non-profit organizations, companies and police departments and now has millions of participants nationwide.
This is a great opportunity to get to know the team at the Auburn Police Department and they are looking forward to meeting you!
